Basic and Advanced Inkjet Remanufacturing Process Training
This comprehensive three-day course helps both the new entrant and inkjet industry professional understand the basic and advanced nuances of today’s inkjet remanufacturing industry through instruction in both theory and practical application.
Day one of the course is geared primarily for those purchasing all-in-one inkjet systems (but entry-level participants can also attend). The morning session is spent hands-on testing, cleaning, and refilling inkjet cartridges. Instruction will also be given in identifying problematic cartridges and basic cartridge troubleshooting. In the afternoon, the group will tour an industrial inkjet production line which is processing thousands of cartridges each day. Later they will learn equipment set-up, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and advanced software functions (including batch mode processing).
Day two is the most important day with regards to content. The morning sessions include classroom type instruction of a macro-overview of the inkjet marketplace, basic inkjet science and terminology (including cartridge design and function, inks, foams, and related topics), and inkjet supplies and consumables. The remainder of the afternoon covers retail inkjet marketing, web support/forum, and advanced inkjet topics (difficult cartridges and cleaning).
Day three consists of breakout sessions. The entry level start-up group will spend much of the morning refilling cartridges hands-on. Later, a session will cover the basics of establishing a mini-production line (pneumatic/hydraulic/waste configuration), equipment set-up and installation, preventative maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, etc. The balance of the day is spent processing a variety of cartridges as well as inkjet production planning.
Any “All-in-one” attendees that remain for the third day can continue to work on cartridge refilling until they feel comfortable with the equipment and processes.
Although SME equipment is utilized, the program is not structured exclusively around knowledge of the equipment. The focus is instead on the “process”, allowing the participants to involve themselves in the actual remanufacturing sequence.
